@johncatba I agree! i saw martha wash in a nightclub about 15 years ago and she blew the place apart. all those blackbox leads, c&c music factory and her hits with the weather girls plus she has done backup for many great top dance tracks. Martha is a legend.

I can’t believe that anyone would even compare Geri Halliwell’s version. Come on… she (Geri) recorded a good song, but she doesn’t have the magnificent voices of Martha Wash and Izora Rhodes.
Those are privileged voices that don’t come around too often. Something tells me had they not been “Two Tonnes of Fun” – they might have gone very much farther (though Martha did quite well for herself after the lawsuit, no?).
