Migraines haven't ever been explained adequately by science, the cause or the helps for it. They think that the triggers: weather changes, emotions, foods, release of tension, etc. cause veins in your head to swell, causing a release of chemicals and pushing on tender tissues. I do a biofeedback routine, envisioning the blood going out of my veins, flowing through my body and cleansed, and I'm able to avoid migraines with it. You may look into that. Meditation of all kinds, talking with trusted people, being with my furred family, walking with nature, avoiding tv and news, and staying away from fast and chemical foods, can all contribute to calm and better life. 2012? My DH says it's taken the Mayans til then to put a new calendar into place; those stone tablets are a real drag to do! Don't be a ghost yet. Live awhile still.
