Diamond League to increase prize money
The Diamond League will offer increased prize money at each of its 14 athletics meetings scheduled this year, bringing the total to $ 8 million. The prize money will rise from $ 450,000 to $ 480,000 per meeting, with season-ending bonuses for winners thrown in, the world athletics federation said Friday.

Jacksonville-based CSX’s Ward says passenger trains don’t make money
