A few nice Financial images I found:

Yes, another night shot. I did get out this weekend so I will put up a few day shots when I get around to a little post production action. This shot was taken in January at the South Street Seaport looking back at the Financial District. This area is usually filled with tourists who come for the shopping and sightseeing. You can see the Peking Schooner on the left. This old relic is iconic of the shipping era which made New York City what it is today. I like the juxtaposition between the ship and financial buildings. AIG’s headquarters is the tall black building just behind the ship. The FDR Highway is the white elevated expressway running across the photo. What’s amazing is how many people are still in their office at 7 pm. That or a lot of people forget to turn off their lights before leaving.
TIP – I have a Canon 50D. I really like it a lot. I recently notice on the menu that it said AI Servo in the ‘focus’ box. I know I was used to seeing something else but had no idea what I normally had it set on or what AI Servo meant for that matter. For those unfamiliar with this focus setting on your camera this might help;
One Shot – For things that don’t move
AI Focus – For things that aren’t moving but MIGHT move when you try to take their picture (like young children). I presume AI stands for Artifical Intelligence because in this mode the camera senses movement of the subject and then acts like its in servo mode.
AI Servo – For things that are constantly moving. If you try to shoot something that is still it will keep hunting for perfect focus. (I’ve also noticed that a lot of people do not recommend this setting as the AI Servo function often becomes confused).

Marina Bay Financial Centre (abbreviation: MBFC; Chinese: 滨海湾金融中心; pinyin: Bīnhǎiwān Jīnróng Zhōngxīn), located along Marina Boulevard at Marina Bay, Singapore, is a multi-phase development with its first phase targeted for completion by 2010. The largest office development to date in the city in terms of gross floor area when fully completed. It comprises three towers, of which two are office buildings at 42 and 36 floors respectively, and the third residential tower, Marina Bay Residences (hidden behind), will rise to 55 floors and house 428 units.
The development will be linked underground to The Sail @ Marina Bay and with this link it will be linked to Raffles Place MRT station.

Plyometric jump exercises
Although it is a new form of training, Plyometric is seen as an efficient method to train , especially for those who want to increase their vertical jump. The Plyometric training cover a series of exercises that will help slim a centreed musclegroup tissues in your body. Plyometric training is also claimed to be a form of training for the nerves in delivering specific signals to muscle contractions . You would experience great strength within a short period .
A deep study in Plyometric involves study in your muscle contractions . to understand this concept , you should acknowledge the three phases involved .The first phase is instant elongation of the muscle . Here, your muscles are put into stretch test. This is followed by Phase Two, is known as the temporary rest period amortisation period. In phase two you will conserve energy that will be used later . The last phase is a reaction from muscle shortening , as the muscles will produce the intended actions together.
Plyometric training conditions your muscle to react to reflex with the most possible strength rather than using strength to its maximum. Besides this, the training also stimulates your tendons and their connective tissues to answerto muscle contractions. In short, your muscles are trained to contract and produce the most explosive results unconsciously.
Meanwhile, plyometric exercises in the trainings are more detailed and the focus is on speed strengths. When it comes to plyometric exercises, there are two types of speed strengths involved; foundation and explosive strengths.
It seems that when your muscle fibers work together in an instant , this is called foundation strength. Meanwhile explosive strength differs as such it is when forces are coming from face-to-face directions, but you are still able to keep going against them. Both the foundation and explosive strengths are applied in jumping. If you look into the anatomy of a jump, you begin by bending down, then leap forward, you are applying foundation strength. As you leap, your movement is working against gravitational force and therefore you are applying explosive strength. Another type of strength involved in plyometric training is the reactive strength. When one action is linked to and instantly followed by another, this is known as reactive strength. This gesture will result extra forces being transferred from the first to the second action.
By constant training the effectiveness of plyometric training will be achieved , as the purpose of these trainings is to gradually reduce the gap between your leaping and landing time. In short, once you understand the purposes and the inside information of plyometric trainings, you will be able to focus on the areas which you need improvement to produce a better vertical jump manual.

Anderson Says Sorry For Angry Rant After Match
Arizona Cardinal qb Derek Anderson said he was sorry for his Monday night postgame tirade. Proclaiming that his father and mother did not raise him to act like this in times of adversity.
The quarterback’s angry rant, now a countrywide spectacle, came after a series of questions from Kent Somers, The Arizona Republic’s beat reporter, concerning why Anderson was smiling with teammate Deuce Luiti on the sideline whilst the Cardinals trailed the San Francisco 49ers by 18 points late in the game. The brief video of the 2 laughing had been shown during the Monday evening broadcast.
Anderson said following the match that it was no one’s business what he and Lutui were referring to. As Somers persisted, Anderson lost his temper and yelled about how he had placed his “freaking heart and soul” into the team and that there wasn’t anything amusing about it.
Anderson was quieter and contrite as he opened his weekly news conference Wednesday.
The blowup came following the Cardinals lost their seventh consecutive competition, 27-6 in a flat, lethargic performance against the san francisco 49ers.
The strain has been on Anderson since coach Ken Whisenhunt titled him the Cardinals’ starter in the course of the preseason, then released Kurt Warner’s heir apparent. At one point, Whisenhunt sidelined Anderson though went back to him following rookie Max Hall struggled hugely. Whisenhunt explained Tuesday that Anderson is going to start Sunday versus the Rams.
Whisenhunt has dismissed the joking on the sideline, saying it’s not fair to interpret something from a couple of seconds of video. On Wednesday, Whisenhunt repeated his approval of Anderson’s work ethos.
Anderson entered the season completing 52.9 percent of his passes for his NFL career. He is at 52.8 percent this year. Between starting quarterbacks, only Carolina Panthers rookie Jimmy Clausen was lower at 50 percent.
When asked how he seems to remain calm, Whisenhunt answered: “You need to stay even and not lose your temper. Trust me, I get upset, players have seen that from me, it’s tough. There’s no way around it, we’re working to correct it every day, and hopefully, we’ll get it done.”
Arizona’s offense ranks 31st from 32 NFL teams, and as usually is the situation with qbs, Anderson gets the brunt of the criticism from devotees. Anderson said he aims to avoid his critics. Running back Tim Hightower reported he felt for his quarterback over the last two days.
